Holy Wars have returned with their first new music in over a year with the vulnerable yet empowering single “I Feel Everything.” Stream the track everywhere and watch the music video.

“I Feel Everything” marks a full-circle moment for the band, tracing all the way back to their inception and debut single “I Can’t Feel a Thing,” which confronted the devastating loss of frontwoman Kat Leon’s parents. Now, a decade since their passing, “I Feel Everything” dives even deeper — written in the wake of tragically losing her sister in 2024.

Speaking on the track, Kat Leon shares:

“I Feel Everything,” lyrically, is about how dissociation and remaining numb for so many years since my parents' passing could only heal so much. With the loss of my sister this past year, every pain and every emotion eventually rose to the surface.”

“We want to bring the chills factor back into our music,” guitarist and producer Nick Perez states, with Leon in agreement noting, “As a band, we have been reflecting on where we are at in our lives and the legacy we want to leave behind and I feel like we lost some of that raw vulnerability of earlier material,” Leon admits, adding “But with how far we have come in our career, we can now  take these themes to a broader  place and show the journey of where we are at today and ultimately, the journey of life after death.”

Musically, I Feel Everything is a cinematic and genre-defying offering— pairing hard-hitting verses with soaring, anthemic hooks that will stay in your head for days which showcase Leon’s signature and dynamic vocal range coupled with Perez’s crushing and angular guitar riffs .

With its mix of raw vulnerability and inventive production, the track is more than just a vehicle for Leon’s personal story, but “an anthem for a generation feeling powerless” according to Leon who are overwhelmed by the state of the world, whether that be emotional exhaustion from political turmoil, environmental destruction and societal unrest.

Despite the vulnerable and raw intensity of the song, Perez wants to make one thing clear: ”This song still holds a sense of hope and empowerment for anyone who no longer wants to escape and to encourage you to feel and embrace those emotions again.”

With the arrival of “I Feel Everything,” Holy Wars are coming out of the gate swinging and offering a bold and declarative statement on who they are today — confident, reenergized and in full embrace of their identity and sound.

This past year was undoubtedly a crucial “level-up” for the band following the release of their breakout EP Cult Classic and label debut for Pale Chord/Rise in late 2023. In 2024, Holy Wars joined veteran rock legends Evanescence for a run of sold-out shows in arenas in Puerto Rico, nationwide tours with rising hard rock trailblazers The Warning in both the US and Mexico as well as appearances on major rock festivals including Great Escape, Inkcarceration, Rock Fest, Rocklahoma, Knotfest Iowa, and Mayhem Festival.

In June of this year, Holy Wars will be taking an epic trip across the pond to perform a series of high profile sets at massive festivals in both the UK and EU, including Rock im Park and  Rock am Ring in Germany on June 6th and 7th, Rock For People in the Czech Republic on June 12th as well as Download Festival in the UK on Saturday June 14th. Additionally, the band will be joining nu metal pioneers Kittie for a string of club shows in the EU/UK in tandem with their festival appearances.

“I Feel Everything” is just the first taste of what's to come from Holy Wars in 2025. Expect more music and exciting announcements to follow soon.
